When in an Invoice, Quote or Expense, changes are saved immediately. It's so that you can very quickly knock out an Invoice by adding and updating line items as you go.
Don't worry though your invoice starts out as a Draft which allows you to create update and store several different options. Only once you are completely happy with the final one do you Finalise it. A PDF copy of this is saved under the Files section when you send it off to your client. This is so you always have a PDf copy of it.
Here you’ll see a list of all existing Invoices if you have created any for that Project before. Open the Invoice you would like to edit by clicking on the Invoice ID or the pencil icon on the far right.
Edit the Invoice as required. You can do this by clicking on the field that you wish to edit. Whenever you click outside of the field it will save that field. If you wish to edit the details of each line item you will need to show the line items details. This can be done by clicking on the Show Details switch. This will show the Line Item details for each Line Item. Now you can click on the details text to edit it.
Note that all changes are saved immediately so you don’t need worry about hitting a Save button to save your changes.
Once done you can Preview the Invoice and then Send it to your Client as a an email attachment in PDF format.
Note: You will need to create a Contact for your Client if you wish to send it from the Beeswax system. This is recommended as Beeswax keeps a copy of the File that was sent, as well as records who sent it, when it was sent and the message that was sent with it.
